This session is designed for juniors, beginners, and families who want to enjoy fishing in a relaxed, supportive environment while developing real angling knowledge. With safe pegs, consistent sport, and a friendly atmosphere, Covey Fisheries is a great place for youngsters to build confidence and enjoy time by the water.

Our qualified coaching team provides hands-on guidance throughout the session, covering essential techniques such as whip and pole fishing, feeding accurately, recognising bites, and handling fish safely. Covey’s well-stocked lakes offer a variety of species including carp, roach, skimmers, perch, and silver fish, giving juniors plenty of opportunity to practise technique and experience success.

All coaching sessions are delivered in support of the Angling Trust Get Fishing initiative, helping young people and families access angling in a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable way. All tackle and bait are provided, so there’s no need for prior experience or equipment — just turn up and enjoy the day.
