Beginner Fishing Taster Sessions for Children & Families
At Summerhayes Juniors, our Beginner Fishing Taster Sessions are designed for children and families who would like to try fishing for the first time in a safe, friendly environment. These relaxed introduction sessions give young anglers the chance to experience the excitement of catching their first fish while learning the basics of coarse fishing, waterside safety, and fish care. Led by experienced and qualified angling coaches, our sessions provide hands-on guidance with simple equipment so beginners can quickly learn how to set up a rod, cast a line, and land their first fish. No previous experience or fishing gear is required — we provide everything needed to get started. These sessions are perfect for kids who are curious about fishing, families looking for a new outdoor activity, or beginners who want to discover what angling is all about. Many of our young anglers catch their very first fish during these sessions, creating a memorable introduction to the sport.
