At Summerhayes Juniors, we believe that fishing should be available to every child who wants to learn. That's why our coaching sessions remain completely free, removing the financial barriers that can prevent young people from getting involved in angling.

Over the years, we have introduced hundreds of children to fishing, helping them develop confidence, patience, responsibility, water safety awareness, and a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors. For many young people, our sessions provide more than just fishing. They offer friendship, mentorship, positive role models, and opportunities to build skills that extend far beyond the waterside.

Running a successful junior programme requires significant resources. Every week we provide tackle, bait, coaching equipment, insurance, training, safeguarding measures, educational resources, and access to quality venues. While our volunteers generously give their time, there are still many essential costs involved in delivering safe and engaging sessions.
